I guess I’ll give a quick explanation as to why I chose the name Fine Linens and Purple.<br />It comes from proverbs 31, where David is describing to his son the perfect women, not yet being there myself, I decided to read it every day for a time, (along with my daily devotions) one day, something stood out to me in verses 21 and 22.<br />This woman worth describing, is not afraid of snow for her household. For all her household is clothed in scarlet. She makes tapestry for herself. Her clothing is fine linen and purple. At first I just thought about the clothing line Janice and I had been dreaming up, we needed a name for it and that seemed perfect! But, when I look at it closer, I realize I can glean much more. It holds so much more then the ideal name for a clothing line! : ) She is not afraid because she knows that God has, and always will, provide for her and her family. She displays the faith that I want to display in my life, whether it be believing on behalf of a whole family or just me, needing the faith it takes to be a single women who serves God.
